Sherrington House Case Study, 02/01/23
– The Communication Room was flooded at 3.00pm on a Bank Holiday
– Our engineer (Jordan) arrived to assess the situation at 3.30pm
– Water was pouring through the ceiling from a burst water pipe and cascading onto all the comms equipment
– There were no phones, no internet, no computers, no E-Mar and no CMS
– Jordan limited as much damage as possible whilst liaising with another of our engineers on the phone
– Returning to our head office, Jordan borrowed from Bee IT loan stock to get systems up and running
– Within 2 hours from the initial call, everything was working on a basic level until the full water damage could be assessed
– One week later the on loan system was replaced with new equipment with no further down time
